Main Street Station in Richmond, VA is a reminder of the days when rail travel was the only way to travel. Built in 1901 by the Seaboard Air Line Railroad (SAL) and the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway (C&O), the station was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976. It is currently in use by Amtrak.
