Artist's Description

This photo shows the Paramount Bristol marquee lit up on a rainy night in downtown Bristol. The Paramount Bristol opened on February 20, 1931. The first movie shown was a romantic comedy called "It Pays to Advertise." In 1985, the theatre was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
